Russell and his siblings were born in Camp Lejeune. His Dad died of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, his brother died of leukemia, his older sister died at birth at Camp Lejeune and is buried in “Baby Heaven” cemetery in Jacksonville, NC and his mother has suffered from cancer. Currently, Russell is healthy but is concerned about his future.
